Volunteering:
Volunteers are always needed. We not only need responsible people to foster an animal until it finds a home, but we need people good at fund-raising, willing to help set up, tear down, help keep the animals clean and comfortable, interview and do paperwork during adoption days (held inside Petsmart at North Point Mall in Roswell, Georgia on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays).
No volunteers are paid. Your only reward is the knowledge that you have fulfilled your desire to help animals, and seeing homeless animals go to a loving home. Expenses, mileage, and donations are tax-deductible.
We also utilize well-mannered, reliable young people over 12 years of age - they add spirit, and are a great help with some of the shyer animals on adoption days. Junior volunteers must be accompanied by their parents on the first day, and parents must sign a waiver for their child to participate. Please contact us in advance of bringing your child to volunteer.
