Other programs
Periodically, we have been able to offer discount spay and neuter certificates. One of our goals is to be able to offer this annually, as well as a vaccination clinic for rabies as well as other available vaccines for dogs and cats. In 1997 and 1998, volunteers provided care for six dogs and two cats that were part of a cruelty case in Habersham County. The case was successfully prosecuted, and we were given custody of the animals. All of these animals have since been placed in permanent homes. In addition to the animals we rescue, we also network with other rescue groups in an effort to find the best possible homes for as many animals as possible.
