I'm a clinical psychologist with 15 years' experience, and a pet owner my entire life.  I understand from the inside the kind of bond we have with our pets, and how painful it is to lose them through illness or misfortune.  While I can't offer free counseling, I am in-network for BCBS and take other kinds of PPO insurance.  If you are facing the loss of a pet, either coming up or in the past, I can be a caring, understanding source of guidance in how to get through it all.

I have been a clinical social worker for over 30 years. I have worked to help people deal with their grief over losing loved-ones frequently over those years. Thirteen years ago, I had to make the decision to euthanize my beloved pet Corgi, and found myself unable to go ahead with it. I was amazed at how much a pet-loss counselor was able to help me with this, even in the first session!  I decided that I had to offer this type of counseling to others.
