Volunteer Opportunities
Passion and a love for animals and people alike. That's what our volunteers have in common. If you have some time and would like to help further our cause, we welcome your help! Below are the current opportunities we have available. Be sure to check back as opportunities will often change.
Volunteer With Your Pet (Across the US and several other countries)

Volunteer at our Bellevue, WA Office
Pet Partners is seeking volunteers in our headquarters office. If you have a passion for animals and people, this is an excellent opportunity to utilize your individual skills and talents to contribute to Pet Partners’ mission of providing the healing benefits of human-animal interactions! All in-house volunteer positions require:
♦ A minimum of one, 3-hour volunteer shift per week and a 6-month commitment
♦ All prospective in-house volunteers are subject to background check
Front desk / Receptionist area:
If you’re friendly, outgoing, sharp, and share our passion for the healing power of pets, we could use your help with answering and routing calls and emails and greeting office visitors. Therapy Animal Program / Program Operations:
Volunteers will assist staff by answering inquiries from prospective and existing therapy animal handlers, Instructors, Evaluators, and human-animal bond enthusiasts. General phone calls and email inquiries include:
♦ How to become a therapy animal team
♦ How to become a licensed Pet Partners instructor or evaluator
♦ How to start a therapy animal visiting program
♦ How to start a therapy animal group or affiliate
Other Program/Operations tasks include:
♦ Answering inquiries on Therapy Animal Team registration packets
♦ Contacting volunteers to resolve incomplete packets issues
♦ General administrative tasks such as data entry, scanning, filing, etc.
Volunteer in Portland
We don't have any specific volunteer positions at this time, but please let us know of your interests and we'll see if we can match you up with another need we have.
