Therapy Animal Skills/Relationship Building Classes (2 Classes)
Your animal attends both of the 2 hour classes

Thu, 17 Jan, 2013 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM


Prerequisites:  To participate in these classes, the animal must be house-broken, and is safe to be around unfamiliar people and animals.  Dogs also must have either successfully completed a basic obedience class or mastered Sit-Down-Stay-Come commands.

Therapy Animal Skills/Relationship Building Classes

The Relationship Building/Therapy Animal Skills Class addresses the development of the handler and animal into a therapy team.  While people and their animals come to the classes with a clearly loving relationship, this class helps the handler understand how to be a proactive and supportive handler so that they and their animal are successful in therapy work.
