This course listing includes available dates for courses and evaluations which are part of Pet Partners' curriculum and are presented by licensed Pet Partners® Licensed Team Evaluators/Instructors.
The Pet Partners Therapy Animal Program is a volunteer program that trains only the handler, screens and 'registers' (we do not certify) volunteers and their pets for visiting animal programs in hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, schools and other facilities. Pet Partners does not offer obedience classes.

Course and Evaluation Descriptions
- Pet Partners® Team Training Course (Step 1 to becoming a Pet Partner)
Learn the skills needed to visit safely with your animal in hospitals, nursing homes, classrooms, and other facilities. Successful completion of this course, in instructor-led or home-study format, is required for registration as a therapy animal team. - Pet Partners® Team Evaluation (Step 3 to becoming a Pet Partner)
The Team Evaluation process evaluates the animal/handler team, how well the handler interprets and manages the animal's behavior, and how well the animal responds to the handler.
